Major: Double major in Government and sociology

Home: Los Angeles

Activities at F&M: I am a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, where I am the director of facility management (executive board); captain of the Mock Trial team; and a member of F&M Votes. I have an on-campus job at the Shadek-Fackenthal Library, I had an internship with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, and I studied abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Why did you choose to attend F&M?

I chose F&M because of the academic rigor that was balanced with support, the connections I could form with my professors, and the social culture of the F&M community that truly felt like a family.

What is something that you did for fun at F&M?

I loved getting to see my friends both in and out of Mock Trial. While the activity is fun in itself, the friendships I formed are lifelong, and I was able to have fun with the people I loved both during and beyond team practices.

What did you enjoy most about your time at the College?

I truly enjoyed the social culture of F&M. The first warm day of spring is always the highlight of the year. Everyone grabbing their picnic blankets and sitting together on Hartman Green is so much fun and so indicative of the culture here.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I will attend law school this fall. I have been accepted to multiple schools, but I haven’t committed yet. I’m so excited about this decision!

What brief advice would you give to incoming students in F&M’s Class of 2029?

Really utilize all the support and resources F&M provides. Whether it is boosting your academic performance with various tutors, creating close relationships with your professors during office hours, or using the Career Center’s advisers to jump-start your future, everyone at F&M is ready and available to help you. F&M truly offers so much; you should take advantage of everything you can.

“The F&M community truly felt like a family.”
